Figarc relies on Figma‘s concepts and best practices. The more you know Figma, the less you need to learn Figarc. If you are a Figma expert, you‘ll be right at home.

Figarc is for fun and education. Therefore, you shouldn‘t use it for sketching professional structures. But it can surely help you create a floor plan of your home or office that you can later give to your architect and make them proud of you.

The right answer is… both. Initially Figarc was built upon the metric system, but later on an imperial measurement system was included as a grid. See the relevant changelog for that.

Yes. The Figarc library is accompanied with a lovely Figarc plugin which will help you measure square meters and square feet on any layers or frame. Go ahead and download it.

That would be included in the Figarc plugin to be launched in the near future. But for now you can use Ren‘s plugin to achieve that.
